Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Herman has made Houston his home for nearly 30 years. Dr. Herman did his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin and post-graduate work at Tufts University in Massachusetts. He did his internship and residency at UCLA Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Miami.
He has a long list of professional affiliations with organizations such as the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the Harris County Medical Society and Texas Medical Society.
